Bradley County Mugshot Record Trails
A booking photo, often called a mugshot, is an intake image tied to an arrest or custody record. It does not show how the case ended. Bradley County’s historical JailTracker reports contain an offender-image area, while TDOC FOIL may show a state offender photograph for a Tennessee felony offender who is incarcerated, on parole, on probation, or inactive. These are separate photo trails. The state image may not be the photograph taken during the Bradley County booking.
The official Bradley County Booking Reports gate is the first local channel. Its public landing page asks for a four-character code and provides access to JailTracker booking reports. It does not promise a released-only gallery, a photo-retention period, or continued access after release. A name that drops from the live gate may still have an existing booking-photo record that can be requested.
Match the photo to a booking number, booking date, and source. Then obtain or check the release or transfer record. An image proves only that a photograph was associated with an intake or offender file. It does not prove a community release, a transfer to TDOC, or the time custody ended.
Find Bradley County Release Mugshots
Each channel covers a different record. The county gate and sheriff request route concern Bradley County intake material. FOIL concerns felony offenders in the TDOC system. The sheriff News Room and established news archives are event-based sources, not full custody databases. Commercial photo aggregators may preserve copied images, but they are not reliable sources for a release outcome and receive no endorsement or direct link here.

VINELink is a custody-status and notification service, not a promised Bradley County photo archive. The Tennessee Sex Offender Registry may show a photo for a person subject to registration, but it is not a general released-inmate image source. Its search can include incarcerated people, so presence there does not prove release.
Note: A photo source and a release source answer different questions, so pair the image with an actual custody or transfer record.
Request Bradley County Booking Photos
If the online gate no longer shows the desired booking, request the photograph as an existing intake record from the Bradley County Sheriff. The official records-request instructions link to an electronic form and identify the Public Information Officer route. The sheriff page does not publish a photo fee, fixed response time, or retention promise. Ask for a cost estimate before chargeable copies and describe the record narrowly.
- Gather the person’s full name, date of birth if known, booking number, and booking date or narrow date range.
- Open the Bradley County Sheriff electronic request form.
- Ask for the existing booking or intake photograph tied to that booking number and date.
- Ask separately for the actual release date and time, release disposition, and transfer destination if recorded and public.
- State that electronic copies are acceptable and request a cost estimate before chargeable production.
- If access is denied or redacted, ask for the legal basis and whether a redacted record can be supplied.

Bradley County’s Two Photo Trails
Bradley County has a county booking-image trail and a TDOC offender-image trail. JailTracker reports relate to the local intake. FOIL covers felony offenders currently or formerly in TDOC custody or supervision. A person who left the Bradley County Jail through a state transfer may appear in FOIL because state custody began, not because the person was released to the community.
Search the TDOC Felony Offender Information Lookup by name, TDOC/TOMIS number, or State ID. Compare the date of birth, photograph, identifier, offense, and status before accepting a match. TDOC says the detailed record may include a photo, status, location, sentence data, parole information, and release information. Parole or probation means community supervision. Inactive may be a clue that the state record is no longer active, but the release fields and documents still need review.
If an older or better state image is needed and FOIL does not display it, use the TDOC public-record request route. Ask for the public offender photograph and the relevant release transaction. This keeps the image and actual release evidence in the same state request while preserving the difference between a TDOC photo and Bradley County’s intake image.
No Tennessee Bradley Mugshot App
No current Tennessee Bradley County sheriff application offering inmate lookup, recent releases, or mugshots was verified. An older product called “BradleyCo Sheriff” was described as a crime-tip, alert, crime-map, and agency-content tool. Its documented purpose did not include a jail photo or release search. A similarly named application visible in a current store search belongs to Bradley County, Arkansas. It is not a Tennessee source.
This distinction prevents a common wrong turn. County names repeat across states, and an app title alone does not establish the operator or jurisdiction. For a Tennessee Bradley booking photo, use the sheriff’s official website and records request. For a state felony photo, use TDOC FOIL. If a future sheriff page advertises a new app with inmate features, confirm the publisher and exact features on the first-party Bradley County Sheriff site before relying on it.

Bradley County Mugshots in News
The Bradley County Sheriff News Room is the first-party local news source. It may carry an arrest-related photo, agency handout, or story tied to a named event. It is not a complete image index. Search by person, date, and event, then preserve the story date and original context. An agency photo published with a news item still does not prove the later custody result.
Established local news archives may retain old JailTracker reports. Historical Bradley PDFs use the title “News Release By Date – Without Address,” but “news release” refers to public or press publication. It does not mean a list of people released from custody. Reviewed reports contain booking fields, charges, bond entries, and an offender-image area without a verified release time. Their search visibility can outlast the live jail record.
Every archived image should be labeled “historical booking, not proof of current custody or release,” with the report date. Commercial mugshot publishers and data brokers may also copy old photos, miss later outcomes, or mismatch people. They are described only as a possible discovery category. No such service is linked or endorsed, and no paid removal offer should be treated as an official correction path.
Bradley County Mugshot Access Rules
TCA § 10-7-503 defines Tennessee public records broadly and includes photographs. An agency-held adult booking or offender photograph therefore begins within the Tennessee Public Records Act definition unless a specific exemption applies. The Open Records Counsel TPRA guidance explains that requests go to the agency that maintains the record. The state advisory office is not a record warehouse.
Broad definition does not mean universal access. Juvenile confidentiality, an expunged or sealed matter, protected identities, and other statutory exceptions can limit disclosure. A records custodian may redact part of a photograph record or deny access when the law requires it. Ask for the statutory basis and whether a redacted version may be released. Bradley County’s separate juvenile facility does not follow the adult JailTracker route.
No authoritative current Tennessee law was found that generally bans publication of adult mugshots or creates a statewide pay-to-remove rule. Do not claim one exists. Official access rests on public-record rules and specific confidentiality limits, while a court order can affect the underlying record.
Bradley County Mugshot Expungement
Expungement can explain why an old arrest, case, or photo trail is no longer public. Tennessee’s no-fee categories include an arrest followed by release without a charge, dismissal, no true bill, not guilty, and nolle prosequi. Eligibility depends on the exact case and current law. The request is filed in the court where the case began, not through a statewide trial-court image portal.
Bradley County adult criminal records are divided between General Sessions Criminal Court and Circuit Criminal Court. Identify which court owns the case. Obtain the docket and case information from the clerk, use the proper expungement forms, and request certified copies of the resulting order and charging document. A dismissed-with-costs entry may require the costs issue to be addressed. A retired case must first reach the proper dismissed status for that route.
An expungement order affects qualifying public records, but it does not itself state the physical jail-release time. It also does not promise that every old news cache changes at once. The state route applies to a TDOC offender image, not the Bradley County Sheriff’s booking photo. Include the full name, date of birth if known, TDOC/TOMIS number, and a narrow date range, then ask for the existing photograph and release transaction rather than a new summary.
