Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice describes what Bradley County Released Inmates collects, how that information supports the resource, and when another party may receive it. It applies when you browse Bradley County release-record material, use a search box, follow an outside link, or send a message. Search providers, government portals, analytics services, and advertisers operate under their own practices where stated below. By continuing to use the site, you acknowledge the data practices in this notice.

Information You Submit

Terms Entered in Search

A name, location, or other term entered into a search tool is transmitted to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Bradley County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider may process the query according to its separate privacy terms.

Emails and Contact Messages

If you email us or use a contact form, we keep the message and the contact details supplied with it so we can respond and maintain the conversation. We do not share a contact submission outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Details Collected Automatically

Routine technical information may be recorded when a browser loads a page. It helps deliver the Bradley County resource, measure its operation, and diagnose faults. The data may include:

  • the visitor's Internet Protocol address;
  • browser name and version;
  • device category and operating system;
  • pages viewed and time spent on them;
  • the referring website, when supplied; and
  • the date and time of the request.

Cookie Controls

Cookies and similar browser storage may help show how visitors use the site. You can block or remove cookies through browser settings. Some functions may work differently or become unavailable when those settings prevent storage.

How Information Supports Operations

Collected information is used for a limited set of operational purposes:

  • keeping pages available and responsive;
  • sending search requests to the selected partner service;
  • understanding which Bradley County topics visitors use;
  • finding and correcting technical failures; and
  • displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests.

Privacy Beyond Our Pages

Links may lead to Bradley County Sheriff records, Tennessee Department of Correction services, court or government portals, release resources, and third-party search tools. Once you follow such a link, the destination's privacy policy governs its collection and use of data. We do not control those outside practices.

Some advertising partners may use their own technology to observe activity across websites and select interest-based advertisements. That processing occurs on the partner's systems, not on systems operated by Bradley County Released Inmates.

Parties That May Receive Data

We do not sell personal information. Depending on the feature used and the legal circumstances, information may be received by:

  • search partners that process submitted queries;
  • analytics providers that measure traffic and use;
  • advertising networks that deliver or evaluate advertisements; and
  • law enforcement agencies or other government bodies responding to a valid legal order.

Reasonable Security Measures

We use standard administrative and technical safeguards suited to the information handled. No website, network, storage service, or Internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. This notice does not promise that a breach, interception, or unauthorized access can never occur.

Visitors Younger Than Eighteen

The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted personal data may contact us and request its deletion.

Choices About Your Data

Subject to applicable law and the information we can reasonably identify, you may:

  • ask for a copy of personal information we hold about you;
  • request correction of information that is inaccurate;
  • request deletion of personal information; or
  • object to or opt out of certain processing.

These requests concern data held by Bradley County Released Inmates. Requests involving a sheriff, court, TDOC, search provider, or another outside custodian must be directed to that organization.

Revisions to This Notice

We may revise this Privacy Notice as practices or services change. An updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and continued use after posting is subject to the revised notice.
